Two years to learn, grow, and make friends

Our 2025 programs are underway, with Free Kinder giving children access to 2 years of quality early learning before school.

Studies show children who attend at least 2 years of kinder have better development in language, pre-reading, early number concepts, independence and social behaviours.

Koorie Kids Shine at Kindergarten

From 2025, Four-Year-Old Kinder will start to transition to Pre-Prep, with kinder programs across Victoria increasing from 15 to 30 hours each week. In 2026, up to 25 hours of Pre-Prep will be available statewide for Victorian children who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

To be eligible, your child must turn 3 or 4 years old by 30 April in the year they go to kinder.

Koorie Kids Shine promotes participation in kinder for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.

We are SunSmart

Outdoor learning is part of everyday life at kinder, and we want all children in our community to learn, play and explore outdoors safely.

By encouraging sun-safe habits from an early age and putting practical sun protection measures in place, we help protect children’s skin and support their overall wellbeing.

We check daily UV levels to guide our sun protection practices and plan outdoor play accordingly.

Our spacious indoor and outdoor facilities are the ideal place for your child to participate in play-based activities, develop friendships and explore and experiment with different materials.
